Most carpets are dry enough to walk on in 4–8 hours. In Darwin's wet-season humidity it can take longer, especially in rooms with little airflow. We set the pile, suggest fans or open windows when that helps, and tell you what to expect before we leave.

Pets can stay home. Please keep them out of the rooms we are cleaning until the floor or the lounge is dry. A closed door or a laundry is usually enough.

We pre-treat marks and lift a lot of everyday spills, mud and traffic soil. Bleach spots, some dyes, old paint and urine that has soaked into the underlay may not come out. We would rather tell you that than promise a miracle.

We use products chosen to be suitable around children and pets once the surface is dry. Keep little ones off wet carpet and freshly cleaned lounges until they feel dry. If anyone in the house is very sensitive, tell us when you book.

Yes. You get a receipt and a short note saying what we cleaned and the date. You can forward that to the agent. The bond decision is the agent's, and a clean does not guarantee the outcome.

We extract the surface with a handheld tool and treat light marks. It is a freshen of the cover you sleep on, not a hospital-grade sterilising process. Put the sheets back on once the mattress feels dry, usually after a few hours.

We inspect first. Loose dye, very worn backing, water-sensitive fibres and timber floors that swell with water are all reasons we might change method or stop. If we think there is a real risk, we say so before we continue.

Carpets and suitable rugs are cleaned with hot-water extraction. Upholstery and mattresses use a lower-moisture tool where that protects the filling and still lifts soil. We do not rely on a dry powder that is left in the fibre.
